A Handmade Halloween!
Welcome to the Halloween Shindig.
We welcomed party guests with our handmade fall wreath.
And a Cozy Corner fully equipped with an electric blanket,
extra
throw blankets in the drawers,
and a space heater for your little toes
to stay toasty.
A string lights make a simple dessert table look fancy.
Here's the dessert table setup before
Ms. D arrives with her treats and sweets!
The outdoor buffet! Sorry so dark, I really thought the lights

We lined the canopy with lights so the guests could see their food!

This is the outdoor movie setup. To the left and right of the
sofa are pallet
boxes filled with blankets and pillows for
comfort. A firepit sits in the middle of the setup.
To the left, but
unfortunately not shown here,
is a snack table fully stacked with
popcorn with a
multitude flavored salts, candies and drinks for
enhanced viewing pleasure. 😉

D is keeping the vibe lovely with his acoustic sounds
while our guests enjoy the food, festivities, and a little laughter.
The kids really enjoyed the piñata. Mia knocked and beat it down like a bonified Lousville Slugger! Soon after, we were rained indoors. Above is a clip of the kids getting their fair share of the goodies.

We made a pallet sofa-bed for the company staying over
from out of town, plus who can't benefit from
an oversized sofa?!? Worked out super!
This is just me playing with the arrangement of glasses.
Ultimately I went with the setup below.
Our full bar is ready for the party with
hand-cut Grey Goose tumbler glasses and
Mason jars with chalkboard tape for
writing names on glasses.

Next year we will add a drink mixer list of simple recipes.
Then the guests can sample different tastes and be their own bartender.

All of the treats and sweets were perfect thanks to Ms. D from Yhanna's Custom Bakes. She came through like a champ with her custom bakes. This is just a taste of what Ms. D catered for the party. So grateful that she could help make the party a success!

Now for my favorite activity of the evening. We had an absolute blast in the photo booth. Everyone picked their favorite masquerade mask and struck a pose...or 2. Click on the video below to enjoy the photos!
I hope our Handmade Halloween inspired your creative juices for next year. We had a blast building, creating and planning for the party. Everything turned out awesomely! All the guests left with a name engraved jar filled with candy treats. And the engraved jars double as tea light holders at home.
